To ensure its operation with maximum productivity for an hour, a gas flow rate of 6 m3 / hour is required. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that the heat engineering equipment is operated at full capacity only in emergency situations, for example, with frost -30 and simultaneous consumption of hot water in the kitchen and in the shower for an hour.


In order to avoid peak gas consumption for hot water supply, it is better to choose single-circuit boilers heating with storage boilers of indirect heating. In this case, the need for gas flow for the operation of the boiler with maximum heat transfer will be 4 m3/h.

If such a calculation seems too complicated, it is enough to simply select a heating boiler and, using its technical passport, determine the maximum gas flow rate, to which you need to add the maximum gas flow rates for the operation of the water heater and stove.

Knowing the need for natural gas, it is possible to obtain technical conditions, but it should be remembered that the cost of connecting consumers with heating equipment, the maximum gas consumption of which does not exceed 5 m3 / hour, ranges from 20 to 50 thousand rubles.

If the equipment is designed for higher gas consumption (not exceeding 500 m3 / h), you will have to pay more. The exact calculation of the cost of connection in this case is made on a separate project.

Obtaining technical specifications for gas supply

Specifications is a document that specifies all the requirements that must be met to connect a private house to the main gas pipeline. So, for example, they indicate the connection point, the level of gas pressure, etc.

Difficult and expensive

Connecting gas to the site has always been an expensive and complicated procedure. The government decree primarily facilitates the organization of gas supply to residential buildings in settlements where gas has already been supplied.

The new regulation, for example, allows connection to municipal networks rather than private PIUs. Also, according to the new rules, for some categories of people, connecting to the gas pipeline will cost only 20 thousand rubles. "This is about individuals, the consumption of which is up to 5 cubic meters of gas per hour. At the same time, the distance from the boiler located in the house to the gas distribution network should be no more than 200 meters in a straight line. The connection period should not exceed one year. If the gas consumption is 5-15 cubic meters per hour, then carrying gas to the border of the site will cost 50 thousand rubles, and this process will take a year and a half,” says Ilya Menzhunov. If these conditions are not met and a larger volume is needed, then the calculation of the cost is individual.

Now "Mosoblgaz" not only issues technical conditions, but also, within the framework of the above-mentioned amounts, brings a pipe from the distribution gas pipeline to the border of the land plot, experts noted. And then the owner himself decides where and how he needs to conduct gas through the territory of the site.

As for developers, for them, the changes determine a different procedure and timing for the implementation of a tie-in to the highway, which makes the process more transparent and simple, ”said Sergey Tsyvin.

According to him, if they require individual project(as is the case with many organized settlements where the developer did not conduct communications), the cost will be determined after its development and examination. It is precisely this work (or rather the project and its implementation) that will require those colossal costs, which we have already mentioned above.

Is it easy to connect?

According to experts, not much time has passed since the entry into force of the new resolution, so the actual practice of connecting under the new conditions has not yet developed.

“Since gas supply is a sphere where there are many regulatory and safety standards that require many approvals, then ordinary person it will take a lot of time to travel through the authorities. How to act

In order to connect gas, you need to contact Mosoblgaz, obtain technical conditions, develop a project (this can be done either at Mosoblgaz or any other design organization), conclude a contract for construction and installation work. Further, in order to let gas into the house, you need to sign two contracts with Mosoblgaz - for the supply of gas and for the maintenance of the gas pipeline gas equipment, said Ilya Menzhunov. If we assume that in practice everything will be debugged, the process will lose its corruption component and become cheaper and easier, then this will probably reduce the cost of the final product of the developer. “True, significant changes should not be expected - gasification is only one of the necessary communications, while all of them are quite difficult to implement and require serious financial investments,” Sergey Tsyvin concluded.
