  2. Using a screwdriver, studs are inserted into special holes. Their number may vary, depending on the manufacturer and product configuration.
  3. Regardless of the manufacturer, a dense rubber gasket and a metal plate are supplied with the faucet. A gasket is put on the hairpin, and a plate is put on top of it. Then you need to install the faucet on the sink and fix it in a level position.

Connection and testing


After a series of events, the faucet was installed on the kitchen sink. After that, you need to connect it to the plumbing system.

Connecting flexible hoses to pipes: in order to make this connection, you will need union nuts, each of which has been previously inserted with a gasket. It is necessary to tighten them tightly on the pipe and tighten with a wrench.

Attention: Tighten the nuts carefully so as not to strip the threads of the nut and damage the gasket.

Now the crane is installed by hand, communications are connected, you can check the quality of the installation:

  1. First of all, you need to dry the faucet and sink;
  2. Open the water supply valve;
  3. Let water through the mixer; You should carefully inspect all the nuts and joints of the faucet with the sink, the joints of the pipes. If everything remains dry, we can safely say that you managed to replace the faucet with your own hands.
